DEBORAH GARDNER 1952 to 2012 Longtime friend of City Lights, Deborah Gardner, whose goals were to advance poetry and encourage young writers, passed away on Tuesday, April 24th, 2012. She and her husband, Keith, were sustaining supporters of City Lights Foundation from its inception in 2000. We will deeply miss Deborah and her optimistic enthusiasm for literature and the arts.
