Winged Shoes and a Shield

I read almost every night before sleep so I have no idea how many books I've read so far this year. What I can tell you is that while I've enjoyed many, been inspired by some, and found that some were read to completion ONLY because once I begin, I feel that need to finish, two I loved from cover to cover. "The Best of Simple" by Langston Hughes and most recently, "Winged Shoes and a Shield, Collected Stories" by Don Bajema. Those who write blogs call themselves authors and so many reality show stars and celebrities have now taken on the title of author that it's so good to read a book and now without a doubt it was written by a GREAT writer & storyteller. Don is just that and I so looked forward to my nightly reading that I purposedly skipped a few nights and slowed down a bit as I came to the end. To be honest, I haven't read the last story yet because I don't want it to end. Excellent!
